It's been a while!

Favorite things from the past week...

Kelv:
Starting YNAB. I've been a total slacker on our budget. Mint has lulled us into near to complete inactivity as far as budgeting goes. YNAB has at its core some of the features I really wanted to build into the fancy budgeting spreadsheet I used to maintain - budgets are treated as accounts with balances. Ancestry.com is still a fantastic place to work. I've been biking nearly everyday. The way there is 35 minutes or less and the way back is about 25 minutes or less. Riding everyday is definitely satisfying. Mitchell and Melanie Harris treated us to some fancy/fine dining a little bit ago, a place called Bambara (as a thanks for joining Ancestry.com on their reference and putting a bonus in their pocket). It was a lot of fun! :-D

Alene:
Took joy in watching the boys do their activities. Dealing with some bad sore throats and hoping they go away soon. Appreciates that I'm getting back to budgeting and taking care of taxes for us.

Camden:
Tumbling at High Altitude began this past week and he's made great improvement already. Likes "doing trains RIGHT NOW!" Playing shake and go. Having pancakes this morning (we almost ALWAYS do cold cereal - I'm not really one to make breakfast, the most common break away from cold cereal is instant oatmeal). Going to grandma's while mommy and daddy went to the temple.

Xan:
"SNACKS!" Popcorn at church to day (apparently). They also talked about the popcorn and hot chocolate they had at the Bunn's on date night.

Both Boys:
Had swimming lessons and are making good strides there.

Sick Start to 2014

This week the Cutlers spent a LOT of time trapped at home. Both Camden and Xan got very sick with coughs, fevers, sneezes, and runny noses. It was a long week for Mommy who stayed home with the boys, but we are glad they are starting to act healthier now. Still won't be able to use Child Care for probably about a week, but we should be able to send the boys to swimming lessons (which start tomorrow) and to Preschool again.

Mommy reopened her shop and already has had 2 new sales, which is a blessing. And we had a great time at the Duersch New Years Party!

We got most of our pictures hung this week too, which made mommy very happy.

Camden: "I can use my camera to make videos for me to watch." Camden was excited to find out today that in CTR 4s he will have the same teachers as sunbeams. Camden says he likes his teachers because they are pretty fun. "I like fun things for me too!"

Xan: "Things that are white and black and drinking juice make me happy!" And Xan went to Primary for the first time today. He is a new sunbeam! He was a little nervous but did a great job at sitting in his chair with his class, and his teachers are very kind.

Mommy: Was excited to go to Primary today too! She is the new Pianist and can't wait for a fun year! And mommy, can't wait until the boys are all better so we can go to the rec center again. And felt like today was a strong fasting day as we hope to have a successful pregnancy soon. Also fasting for Ruth to be happy!

Daddy: he rode his bike to work everyday he had work this week even though it's very cold. He feels blessed to be able to ride his bike on the Provo River Trail and how close to live to the trail, and how close his work is to the trail.
