Camden and Lindy had a big collision last night at baby sit swap. Pictures to prove it...

Brags
We did a lot (and had a lot of help) to make our house the way we wanted it.
- We took out the carpet and replaced it and went over the top of the linoleum to put in new laminate wood flooring. We loved it so much in the condo we were just in that we had to do it here too. Help from Alene's Dad, Jason & Katie, Scott Glen (Home Teacher), Brock, Paul, and two young men (Chris Pauni and Steve Trujillo).
- We built a wood play-set purchased from Costco. Help from Brandon Moon, Derek Bunn, Alene's Dad.
- Painted half the wall and installed chair bumper (wall moulding) in our room and the boys room.
- Assembled many new storage shelves, including a large shelf reliance system.
- Put in new front door lock and garage keypad system.
- I now bike to work every day, 3.7 miles each way on a new road bike (~13 minutes on a good day).
First Week
Favorite things from the past week...
Camden: "Playing with Xan." Camden enjoys playing on the new playset and pretends he's on a boat house, that has a slide we can go on. "I like family too." He also like the new house and going to Grandma's. Camden likes BYU.
Xan: "Family." "Driving in Grandma's car" (Mom and boys go over to Grandma's most Thursdays to spend the afternoon there playing, doing crafts and getting stuff done)
Kelv: Alene and I went on a real date for the first time in quite a while (before we'd used our date nights for house projects). Went to a basketball game together. Camden and I enjoyed the football game we went to (part of Cosmo Kids club). It was against ISU, the score was 49 to 3 at the end of the first half. It was incredibly cold and had snowed a lot of the game, so we went home after the 2nd half started. Alene picked us up with hot cocoa and blankets! I'm working on getting temp work and starting the hunt for long term work at the same time.
Alene: Watching boys at tumbling and watching the boys' creativity (Camden builds amazing crafts - often out of "recycled" stuff). Proud of Tony for going on the toilet this past week. Happy to have nearly all the boxes unpacked at this point and is looking forward to hanging pictures this coming week. Reopened Etsy shop and surprisingly happy to be doing it again.
Funny Quotes/Stories
Mom and the boys were driving in the car when Xan yawned and then said, "Mom, my yawn makes the music louder!"
Other Events/Thoughts
Stressful being in flux with no funding from Pixelture and no work yet. Realized it has been a long time since doing Etsy accounting and therefore paying tithing on Etsy income. Feel it's going to be necessary to do and pay with the tightness of finances right now though.
Love the neighbors and ward so far. We've had 3-4 home visits from neighbors - cookies from Gulbrandsons and apple pie from Kris Wilsons and pumpkin cheesecake from the Grovers.
Camden is reading quite well (for his age). The boys play very well together - quite roughly at times and there's still the crying and screaming that comes up, but they really enjoy each other :-D!
Hoping to get pregnant with 3rd baby soon. We've been trying (off and on) for 2 years now, had 2 miscarriages, but we feel that we will definitely be sent another one when the timing is right.
We're loving owning our first home (in west Provo)! It's great!
